NAGISACORE.

From SCREEN to SCREEN
2022

The brief of this project was about designing, developing and delivering identity concepts for an exhibition at the State Library of Victoria showcasing a chosen Australian artist. My chosen artist, Normana Wight explored several mediums from the combination of traditional painting and silk printing to the use of computer imagery.

While challenging with ideas of commodification and elitism, her work was mostly influenced by the writings of Clement Greenberg and the reductive formalism of modern art - I was interested in Wight’s use of abstract forms in her works I would like to create a cultural identity based on her style approach inspired by retro graphics and typefaces.

Please note: This event is fictional and did not historically take place.
