How to get all your nutrients

It has been revealed that most kids may not have absorbed enough nutrients from various food sources such as vegetables, which may lead to health problems such as obesity. Where throughout the project, I would like to raise awareness in children ages 7 to 10 about the importance of getting all of the major food nutrients including carbohydrates and vitamins. Combining one of my interests in food since I was a kid, I attempted to design a cooking guide booklet with simple recipes for them to follow the cooking procedures.

I divided the categories of major nutrients into sections so 6 recipes will be provided within the booklet. I have chosen yellow, red and green for the colour palette since they are colours for most of the food ingredients. All of the illustrations included in the booklet were hand-drawn with simple words such as ‘mix’ and ‘add’ intended to grab their interests and attention.
